Available in this range of accessories are both metal and plastic pegs which come in a set of 10 that support and hold the net in place for the duration of the game, providing reliability. Many people make the mistake of trying to insert these pegs into the ground with their foot which is an improper way of setting the nets up and can cause the pegs to snap or bend. In addition, if you usually attach nets to the posts using masking tape or metal fixtures, this can cause damage to the nets during use and while dismantling Instead, we offer rubber mallets which prevent such problems, providing a more secure goal in a much quicker set-up time, too.

The use of fasclips and net ties are the quickest and simplest ways of setting up and taking down goal nets. Within minutes fasclips can be attached to the netting itself, or net ties can be used to attach the netting to the goal posts using a Velcro strap. Both methods offer stability and longevity with a reduced risk of damage to netting during dismantling, unlike other methods where can tear the nets. Also much safer than metal hooks which can cause all sorts of problems especially if they start to corrode or break. Ouch!

Net pegs stabilise the nets in a different way, holding the nets down into the ground stopping any ball from ‘slipping through the net’ so to speak. We have two types of pegs; metal and plastic. Which is better you ask? In reality, both do as good a job but are suited to different types of ground. Metal pegs are more efficient in a frozen or dry ground, and plastic pegs are just as effective in ‘normal’ softer pitches and are seen to be the safer option by some.
