Shooting
Structure
- Set up the area as above.
Rules
- The wide player receives the ball.
- They drive at and go past the mannequin.
- They then play a 1 2 around the next followed by a shot from outside the box.
Crossing
Structure
- Set up the area as above. You can use pop up goals and football cones to set up.
Rules
- A variety of balls are played wide .
- The wide player delivers crosses in to the box.
- Each cone is coloured and the wide player delivers on the coaches command.
- Progress to adding players if you have the required numbers.
In Behind
Structure
- Set up the area as above
Rules
- The wide players make runs in behind.
- They receive a pass played from the central player.
- They must keep running along the back line until the ball is released.
- Once they receive the ball they try to score 1v1 against the goal keeper.
