I purchased two senior football mannequins for my U12 girl’s football team with the intention of using them mainly for my goalkeeper coaching sessions.
I’ve found many more uses for them than I thought possible – from using them as a free kick wall, an obstruction in a possession and passing exercise right through to using them as defenders in a shooting exercise.
The quality of the mannequins is very high. So far, they’ve withstood heavy wind, rain and even being hit with the ball.
Our girls even class them as part of their team, and they’ve given them names and they even wear their own bibs with their names on.
The uses for this bit of equipment is endless and each week I find something new I can use them for.
I regard them so highly that another team have purchased some for their own players.
