As you may be aware, we were recently impacted by a fire, which started externally to our old Vesey HQ but completely destroyed our entire premises. However, we’re not talking about a little one. 27 Fire appliances and over 100 Fire-fighters attended, and it even got coverage on the BBC. We lost everything, apart from our most important things, our staff and our amazingly supportive customers. The fire scored a blazing goal against us, including a few late, studs up challenges, at a critical time of year, right at the start of the key kit ordering window for the new season. Discount Football Kits, live and breathes the grassroots football community, we have done since our inception in 1997, so this wasn't a moment for sympathy, but immediate and decisive actions on how quickly we can rebuild to operational status. Why? Because the impact of this fire would have a bigger impact on the volunteer community we serve, if we didn't. We pride ourselves on our dedication to ensuring kit, equipment and football supply is stress free, to enable you to focus on delivering coaching and matches to players up and down the country. After a half-time team talk, and the all-important "magic sponge" from the physios, we turned the tables and pressed on to smash 3 worldies into the back of the net to secure the win and regain operational status!
